Intro--

Lex is an Element Weaver, a species of element manipulators who live in large cities on their planet Eleientium. Lex comes from the Zurrin family, a rich family who's main focus is Planetary Study, a study ranging from a planet's ecosystem to the very species' that lives there, and naturally, Lex inherited this job his family so dearly loves. However, while he inherited the job, he's very lacking in passion, the heart of any job or hobby as some may say. While Lex's parents were studying planets, Lex was having fun in his home city doing many things, excluding the very thing he was "born to do," as his parents would say. One problem though, Lex's parents would normally send a specialist to travel from planet to planet, collecting data and taking notes, sending it back to the Zurrin's for them to study, and what are the odds, Lex's parents decided to send HIM out in place of the specialist. What luck. What did they expect from him? He had no experience! He only knew how to fly a ship! And they expected him to navigate planets and collect data? No way was he doing that. Unfortunately for Lex, they didn't give him much choice, telling him that only once THEY decided he had collected enough data, could he return home. They gave Lex a cartographer who was well versed in translation to help him navigate planets, and an editor who would check his notes for errors before passing them onto his parents, then sent him along on his journey. It was then that Lex decided his only goal was to complete this "business trip" of his as fast as possible so he could return home and never have to deal with it ever again.

Goal: to finish his trip and go back home

Thing that gets in the way of his goal: various obstacles on different planets, or species interfering with his trip (- Mistress, Monarch, Project Blackout)

Major flaw: Cocky, rude, not very self sufficient (most Element Weavers were raised as "team players," because that's how their culture is)

Abilities--

Lex is a Fire Weaver, meaning he has the ability to manipulate fire or create fire with his bare hands (The color of said fire is simply stylistic choice, his fire can look red/normal as well). He uses this for many things, and mostly uses it for defense or reflecting possible attacks. However being an Element Weaver comes with a weakness as well, all Fire Weavers are weak to any water based element sources (such as: water based abilities, magic, power sources, and manipulation, NOT the raw substance) and Lex is no different. This weakness can nullify or completely disable Lex's ability, leaving him feeling nauseous or short of breath. But to every con, there is a pro, and Lex not only has a weakness, but an amplifier as well. Fire Weavers' ability is amplified by any wind based element sources (such as: wind based abilities, magic, power sources, and manipulation, NOT the raw substance), because of this Lex can very much have the upper or lower hand in a situation depending on the element in play.

Description--

Red hair with blonde streaks, black eyes, claws, and horns on the side of his head. As per being a Fire Weaver, he adorns their characteristics.

Relationships with the crew--

Lex likes to feel free and have a flexible day, so he doesn't like Pixie's rigid schedules, and hates when she tells him to work on his notes, but outside of that he's very grateful for her translation skills.

Being Flicker's temporary bodyguard and whatnot, Lex feels that it's his job to keep Flicker out of trouble, but never notices how he belittles Flicker in the process.

Lex and Arinnetta had a rough start at first, she would continuously get on his nerves, and cause tons of trouble. While he still gets annoyed by her tricks (like most would), they're good friends and make a good team when it comes to thinking outside the box.

Barry keeps to himself, so he's not close with most of the crew, especially the first few trips, where he'd just stay with Pixie off field. But despite vampires being "untrustworthy," Lex knows he can rely on Barry to make tough decisions, and to always have a clear head.
