Intro--

Pixie is a Feather Fairy who was hired by the Zurrin family to be a cartographer and translator on their son’s business trip. She is a specialist in Linguistics but is also well versed in planet mapping and “path finding,” skill sets very welcome on a journey of traversing a vast amount of planets. Pixie has spent her entire life dedicated to learning about languages, and as such a large subject as it is, she will certainly spend her whole life studying it non-stop, as is the life of a Feather Fairy, a species that dedicates their life to one specialty, hobby, or other such ambition. For Pixie learning cartography and “path finding” was just a side hustle to be able to find some jobs, as she knew it would be helpful if she wanted to study more languages. When the Zurrin family reached out to her about going on an open-ended trip where she’d be doing exactly what she specializes in for no price except her time and effort, Pixie quickly jumped to accept the offer. While also dedicating lots of time to studying and practice, Pixie is also a proud routine keeper, and sticks to a specific routine to make sure she’s getting the most out of her day, while keeping her mental and physical health in check. Despite already knowing 98 languages and 14 variations at heart, Pixie is determined to learn as many as possible before her worldly departure, she finds it thrilling and challenging, but can sometimes get frustrated at the large amount of languages that suddenly decided to change a wide amount of their vocabulary just for the heck of it. But no matter, for if anyone can learn every language in Enn-Durance, it’s Pixie!

Abilities--

Pixie is a Feather Fairy, a species often known to focus and hone all their skillsets based around one subject, and Pixie is no different.

Description--

White hair and light yellow skin, she has long pointed ears, green eyes, and white feathers sprouting from her cheeks, ears, and joints. As per being a Feather Fairy, she adorns their characteristics.

Relationships with the crew--

Pixie quickly picked up on how little Lex knew of anything outside of Elientium, which was fine, but she was at least expecting someone who was excited about going on a business trip, not a cocky young Fire Weaver who was being forced on a trip witch little to no say in the matter. Never the less, Pixie has grown attached to Lex, he may be lazy when it comes to his job, but his energy is exactly the thing Pixie needed to allow herself to let loose a little bit.

Pixie sees Flicker as a free-spirit, a young soul excited about the many worlds he was going to traverse. And as an added bonus: Flicker desperately wanted to learn more Shomeir, as he only spoke Flickish, his native language. What fun! Pixie treats Flicker as a young apprentice, and cherishes their Shomeir lessons together.

Pixie doesn’t get along with Arinnetta. She never has and probably never will, as Arinnetta’s main purpose of being part of the crew was helping Barry with patching up the ship, and yet she never does anything, she just sits next to Barry and fiddles with a piece of junk or smoke bomb and pretends to be useful. Arinnetta never fooled Pixie. To Pixie Arinnetta’s more trouble than she’s worth, but she sees how the other crew interacts with her and acknowledges that the crew just wouldn’t be complete without her.

Pixie was highly suspicious of Barry, and regretted letting Lex, someone with hardly any knowledge on other species, go and find a mechanic on his own. At the very least she was thankful that Barry had a blood-alt and was actually good at mechanics, but she was still going to watch his every move. Barry stayed off field with Pixie often across the first few trips, and Pixie began to loosen up around him, as he was surprisingly laid back, hardly caused any trouble, and didn’t mind going by Pixie’s schedule. The complete opposite of his so-called “assistant mechanic.”
