         What is The Land Of Odd?

Enn-durance has many connections to different dimensions, but a reoccurring dimension that is mentioned often in the story is The Land Of Odd, a wacky dimension with toy resembling characters who live in pairs of two.

So how does the Land Of Odd work? 

Well, the whole point of the land of odd is that it doesn't make any sense, hence the strange words, weird phrases, and as described by the characters, things like time and ruling isn't a thing in there. Although I can give a small layout of the world! 

Oddities as dolls

The Land Of Odd is connected to the world of Myth, while at the same time being a sort of disconnected dimension that is only accessible through a story book that appears and disappears at the most inconvenient times, as well as most of the cast resembling dolls or toys, playing into the story book theme. 

The land of odd isn't supposed to make sense, therefore their world (or dimension) isn't round or flat, it has no ends but doesn't go on forever. Think of it like a quilt, and each piece of land is a patch sewn onto the rest of them. Except it goes on for infinity, but only has so many patches.. 

Also something important to be noted, the Land Of Odd is so random and chaotic, that the creatures who live there are just so used to it, they literally have no perception of danger.

Bag of Marbles

 The main connection Enn-Durance has to The Land Of Odd is a bag of  marbles, an item made by an Oddity’s (an Oddity is what the  inhabitants are called) last magical connection to their dimension,  who was sent to Enn-Durance through a portal. (more details about  this may be added in a future post)
